Fans of the Terrifier franchise will be surprised after hearing the origins Damien Leone shares for his motion picture horror project. In an interview on the Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum podcast, the director revealed that he wrote the Terrifier 2 script while making deliveries for a flower shop.
“I literally wrote the entire movie of Terrifier 2 when I was delivering flowers,” Leone admitted. “Almost all the ideas came to me as I was driving that van.”
Many people were surprised at the source of the story for a movie as violent as The Hateful Eight, but it reveals Leone’s unique creativity and highlights how jobs like truck driving can lead to brilliant new ideas.
From being an unknown character, Art the Clown has turned into a cult icon
Fans of horror films have had Art the Clown terrify them ever since the first movie came out. Art is famous for the silent way he kills, making him a greatly feared figure in today’s horror—an image of gore, abuse, and mental torment. Many people have come to love Art for his unique style, thanks to David Howard Thornton’s acting. Lauren LaVera, Samantha Scaffidi, and Jenna Kanell have used their skills to create some of the best memorable moments in the series.
Terrifier’s fourth installment is now coming together
Damien Leone has three horror films out, yet he continues to create more. Terrifier 4 is now in production, according to a message the director posted on Instagram.
“The script for Terrifier 4 is under way,” Leone revealed. “It is shaping up to be the most epic, horrifying, thrilling, emotional, and satisfying conclusion to the Terrifier saga.”
From Indie Roots to Horror Legacy
No one could have expected how far Leone would go, from delivering flowers to being famous for his horror films. The Terrifier series was once a hard-hitting indie production, but fans’ obsession with its brutal and creative scenes has turned it into a worldwide hit.
Although Art the Clown may be about to end, the new Terrifier film seems to contain his most terrifying deed yet.
