Royal Family Shares Key Update on Prince Edward’s Latest Engagements

The Royal Family provided information about senior royal engagements after Prince William delivered his moving birthday video to Dame Mary Berry. Buckingham Palace published information about the Duke of Edinburgh Prince Edward when he traveled to Shropshire to meet local communities together with young people.
Championing Youth and Community Initiatives
Prince Edward made Derwen College his first stop during the visit to experience the education of students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The Duke witnessed students display their achievements from the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award program at the Outdoor Centre during his visit.
The Duke of Edinburgh discovered at OsNosh that members of the Oswestry community utilize surplus food donations to make affordable meals for less fortunate people. The educational programs at the initiative educate participants about reducing food waste and show them sustainable approaches to cooking.
The Duke spent his time at Park Hall Stadium which is the location of The New Saints FC Foundation. Through its programs the foundation directs sports activities and educational initiatives to reach more than 1,500 young participants weekly thus developing personal growth and leadership abilities along with teamwork skills in each student.
Prince Edward’s Engagement at Derwen College
The Prince saw all areas of Derwen College when he visited Gobowen in Oswestry last Tuesday. One main focus of his visit involved inspecting the dedicated Duke of Edinburgh Centre at the site because this establishment supports students toward independence while growing their skills and preparing them for their future careers.
The Duke commended students for their dedication and determination while participating in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award which was established by his late father Prince Philip to help young people gain leadership abilities via volunteer work alongside outdoor activities.
