Princess Kate Middleton, seems to be parting ways with a difficult phase of life as she joined the royal family for the Christmas Day photo shoot. On December 25, the 42-year-old royal was joined by her husband, William, and the three children, George, Charlotte, and Louis, all dressed up for the traditional walk to the St. Mary Magdalene Church on the family’s Sandringham estate. This is traditionally one of the main functions in the royal calendar and reunites the family in celebration of the Christmas festivities.

Princess Kate Middleton , who was hand in hand with her youngest child, Prince Louis, dazzled in a hunter-green Alexander McQueen coat that she recently wore in Leeds in January of 2023. A matching fascinator and scarf, flapping black gloves, that quintessential hint of class remained quintessentially her. There were many people who got a chance to interact with King Charles and Queen Camilla during the walk. Princess Kate Middleton also embraced the well-wishers, shaking hands, receiving bouquets of flowers, and and interacting with children.
A Year Marked by Health Struggles
The Princess of Wales remains a very private person in 2024 because of the resulting battle with cancer. The year started with her surgery in the abdomen in January, and in March, she declared that she was on treatment. More details of her condition remain sealed to the public, but to ensure she returned to full health, Princess Kate Middleton vowed to cut down on a number of royal appearances.
She came back in June for Trooping the Colour; she was seen a few times that year, including attending Wimbledon in July with her daughter Charlotte and sister Pippa Middleton. In September she informed everyone that she was done with chemotherapy.
A Gradual Return to Royal Duties
Princess Kate Middleton has slowly but effectively reclaimed the public spotlight after the birth of Prince George. In October she was with William at Southport; the couple attended Remembrance events in November and ITV’s annual Together at Christmas carol concert in December.
The walk on Christmas Day was an obvious sign that, unlike the rest of the year, she had not given up on royalty and the traditions. Having Princess Kate Middleton at this part shows that she is strong, as is her family, which symbolizes the new year after difficult times for Kate’s character.
