According to media reports British Princess Catherine, the Princess of Wales, wants to end animosity with Prince Harry and has reached out to him. After her health transformation, Kate called her brother-in-law and informed him of worrying about his life in Montecito, California.
Kate’s Worries for Prince Harry
Some media sources claim that Princess Kate is concerned about the isolated behavior of Prince Harry, which escalated after the scandal related to the recent show of Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex. The royal family alleges that Prince Harry may be lagging in rendering his performance as he is far from the royal family and in the eye of public scrutiny. The positive motives are also seen in attempts at reconciliation made by Kate who wants to find Harry happy and become a part of the family again. Her work is to repair the broken relationships and to help to feel people as united family even in such conditions.
Harry’s Response to Kate’s Efforts
Although Prince Harry understands Kate’s good intentions, he has stated multiple times that the Duchess is to be involved in any discussion about the reunion. His core of support, holding with his wife continues to remain the unchanging part of his stand, in which he is insistent Meghan be part of a conversation with the royal members. It has been alleged that Harry accepts Kate’s phone calls but he feels that the lifestyles and attitudes they lead are poles apart. However, he is still willing to stand by Meghan, help her to go over her problems, and fulfill her dreams.
A History of Distance
After becoming less active members of the royal family in early 2020, Harry and Meghan isolate themselves from the royal family even more. Despite such attempts little exercise could be made to bring the two sides together as Hostilities persist and issues remain unsolved further deepening the divide.
Kate’s gesture is a move in the right direction of trying to come to terms but evident that if the parties want to sort out the issues to a meaningful extent everyone involved needs to be included including Meghan. Whether this is going to lead to a resolution we have still to see but it still draws attention to the unresolved nature of intramural relations of the royal family.
