
Louder Than Life is set to shake the ground once again this fall with its biggest lineup yet, promising an unforgettable experience for rock and metal fans. With over 160 bands performing across four days and six stages, the 2025 edition of the festival is bringing some of the biggest names in rock and metal to Louisville, Kentucky. Headliners include Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Avenged Sevenfold, Breaking Benjamin, and Evanescence.
A Star-Studded Rock and Metal Roster
The festival, held at the Highland Festival Grounds, boasts a lineup that goes beyond just its headliners. Fans can expect electrifying performances from Knocked Loose, Three Days Grace, Lamb of God, Mudvayne, I Prevail, Spiritbox, All Time Low, Dream Theater, Stone Temple Pilots, Motionless in White, Cypress Hill, Acid Bath, Down, Lorna Shore, and Bruce Dickinson, among many others. This year’s lineup is not just a celebration of established icons but also a showcase for the rising stars of the genre.
A Festival Bridging Generations of Heavy Music
Danny Wimmer, the force behind Danny Wimmer Presents, emphasized the festival’s commitment to honoring rock’s legacy while pushing the genre forward.
“Louder Than Life has always been about showcasing the future of rock and heavy music while honoring the legends who paved the way,” Wimmer stated in a press release.
He highlighted the significance of modern bands like Bring Me the Horizon, Sleep Token, Bad Omens, Motionless in White, Spiritbox, I Prevail, Slaughter to Prevail, Lorna Shore, Wage War, Dayseeker, and Knocked Loose, calling them “the next generation of headliners.”
At the same time, the festival will feature legendary acts like Slayer, Deftones, A Perfect Circle, and Avenged Sevenfold—artists who have “set the standard” and demonstrated the genre’s constant evolution.
A Global Phenomenon in Its 11th Year
Celebrating its 11th anniversary, Louder Than Life has grown into a worldwide sensation, drawing fans from all 50 states and beyond. In 2024, the festival attracted more than 190,000 attendees, and with this year’s powerhouse lineup, a similar turnout is expected. With massive headliners and an electrifying atmosphere, Louder Than Life 2025 is shaping up to be a must-attend event for rock and metal enthusiasts everywhere.
