In another video of King Charles, the monarch was captured showering praises on his daughter-in-law, Princess Kate, and paid her tribute a few hours before the Christmas speech. The move was made in appreciation for her commitment to staging the Christmas Carol Service that took place on the 6th of December at Westminster Abbey.
The special titled “Together at Christmas” was filmed and will air at a later date on ITV. It includes times of togetherness and moments of thought, with Kate’s emotional speech focusing on love and compassion in troubled days.

In return for Princess Kate’s work, King Charles popularized the event himself. That the official page of the royal family disclosed details of the broadcast only serves to underline its importance. It was a reaffirmation of Kate’s support and role to the royal family, including her role as the queen.
This year, 2024, has proven very challenging to the royal family, most especially for King Charles, who battled cancer, and Princess Kate. Still, Kate came out to host her first significant event since her diagnosis, which many members of the royal family attended to demonstrate their support.

During the “Together at Christmas” service, she called the attention of everyone to the value of kindness and the need to stand together, embrace each other, and once again proclaim the primacy of love and concern for other people. This gesture from King Charles is not only the vindication of Kate’s standing as the backbone of the royal family but also the values for which the royal family continues to fight during the happier times and the worse.
