Hollywood icon Jodie Foster has added another accolade to her illustrious career by winning the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Limited Series for her role as Chief Liz Danvers in True Detective: Night Country. This is another feather in 62-year-old legends’ hats, apart from two Oscars and several Golden Globe awards, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award.

Jodie Foster’s portrayal of Liz Danvers in the Alaskan-set mystery series has been widely regarded as one of the most compelling characters in the True Detective anthology. Her win comes after her groundbreaking 2024 Primetime Emmy for the same position, making her the first actor in the series to be honored.
