Janette Manrara, known for her role as a host on Strictly It Takes Two and a former pro dancer on Strictly Come Dancing, has revealed that she and her husband, Aljaž Škorjanec, are considering adding a new member to their family. There are plans for raising a dog since the couple is already father and mother to their little daughter, Lyra.
Dog Memories From Childhood
Janette Manrara said that she came to love dogs from her childhood in the USA and had a Doberman, which Janette Manrara named Naako. But the family recently had their loss during this summer; more particularly, they lost their pet, and thus, she has come up with a topic that made her realize how important it is to foster a dog in a family.
Timing is Everything
As for the claim that they would not be able to give the required stability, they have a very busy life now, traveling a lot and having obligations both in London and the North, as Janette pointed out. The couple would like to get a pet, but they have one concern, and this is that Lyra, their daughter, should be in school first to help them find a house and probably settle down in one point so as to help a pet to adjust to their new environment.
A Family Dream
However, truly, in principle, the couple is much more excited about the idea of having a dog in the future. They thought it would make them happy and also enable Lyra to build an awesome relationship with the furry animal. Although they have hinted at being close to adopting a dog recently, they are still deciding on the right time to do so.
Unfortunately, the couple is yet to settle down and may still attend events and shows for some years. This is because, for now, they are currently considering their jobs as well as young kids they have. Yet, there are no doubts that such families would like to have a new member a four-legged one, so that a new period of happiness and petting would start.
