A new legal suit has produced accusations against Maui Police Chief John Pelletier, who allegedly concealed information about a sexual assault allegedly carried out by Sean Diddy and NFL star Odell Beckham Jr. along with comedian Druski. When he served as Vegas police captain, Pelletier allegedly tried to hide information about the incident in 2018, according to a revised court document that was submitted to the Northern California federal court.
Allegations of Cover-Up
During the 911 dispatch about a property assault on Ashley Parham in Orinda, California, Pelletier simulated Contra Costa sheriff official status to investigate the scene. After Parham fled his residence, a neighbor contacted police, but Pelletier arrived at the scene and supposedly disregarded the report.
The lawsuit states that Pelletier dismissed the victim by telling her to locate a way home instead of helping her. Apparently, there was more reason to doubt as the legal document reports that Pelletier gave an envelope to a neighbor who left momentarily without any items when he returned. Parham has reason to believe the envelope Pelletier handed to their neighbor contained money.
Accusations Against Sean Diddy, David Beckham Jr., and Druski
In October 2023, Parham started a legal proceeding against Sean Diddy as the defendan;t she accused him of assault. New to the lawsuit are Beckham Jr., Druski, and Diddy. The court document includes evidence that Diddy struck Parham because she pointed toward his possible involvement in the Tupac Shakur killing. Multiple men took over the assault of Parham following Sean Diddy’s first attack, according to her statements in the lawsuit. According to the court filing, Beckham Jr. received the name “Cornelius” from the attackers when the incident happened, which is identical to his middle name, Cornelious.
“I have never done anything like that, and I would never do anything like that to anyone,” Beckham Jr. stated, calling the allegations completely false.
The lawsuit states Druski used the name Drew Desbordes to perpetrate violence against Parham by covering her body in oil until she slipped and lost her breath before carrying out the assault. Druski provided evidence to refute the claims because, in 2018, he was living with his mother after being financially broke with no involvement in the entertainment industry.
Defendants Call the Lawsuit a Fabrication
Lawyers representing Pelletier along with Sean Diddy and Beckham Jr. and Druski have refuted the allegations by describing them as opportunistic attempts for publicity to bring financial benefits. The defense team representing Combs declares that he remained outside of Orinda when the incident occurred and the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Department ruled out Parham’s accusations as entirely baseless.
Sean Diddy faces sexual trafficking charges at the federal level and stays in Brooklyn detention until his trial begins in May. The lawyers who represent Combs state the case exists solely to perpetuate baseless claims for financial benefit.
