Gwyneth Paltrow revealed that both she and co-star Timothée Chalamet eventually felt comfortable enough to take control of their performances without additional guidance.
“We said, ‘I think we’re good. You can step a little bit back,'” she explained. “I don’t know how it is for younger actors starting out, but if someone is telling me, ‘Okay, and then he’s going to put his hand here,’ I would feel, as an artist, very stifled by that.”
