Google and Samsung Introduce Eclipsa Audio for Chrome and Android

Google and Samsung are extending their superior spatial Eclipsa Audio format to Chrome and Android. Intended to take spatial sound further than even professional studios, this new format helps bring spatial sound into people’s homes.
A Collaborative Interactive Experiment in Open-Source Spatial Audio
Launched at the beginning of the show by Samsung, more information about Eclipsa Audio, which uses IMM and IAMF, came out later from Google. Created with Samsung and other partners from the AOM, this format is free of fees, allowing more individuals to enjoy excellent spatial audio streaming.
How to Make Spatial Audio More Available
Spatial audio has only been available for personal use for as long as decades of use; they have largely been the privilege of the movie and music industries. Eclipsa Audio is trying to change that by using free and easily accessible audio tools to let anyone generate spatial sound files. This advancement means that content creators, gamers, and many people who desire to try something different with audio can now do so.
For greater versatility, Google intends to release an Eclipsa Audio version compatible with AVID Pro Tools in the spring so that more users, including beginners and professionals, can incorporate this format into their productions. Further, an open-source reference renderer for spatial audio has already been introduced for reproducing standalone spatial audio content.
Exploring Eclipsa Audio in the Browser
Users who want to try out how Eclipsa Audio works can do this directly in their web browsers with the help of the Binaural Web Demo Application. This tool is a simple means for the audience, enthusiasts, and developers to experiment with the Brainworx Studio signal processor without needing special equipment. Keeping it open-source and easily accessible, Eclipsa Audio is a leap forward towards providing hitherto exclusive sound design to the general public.
