
The television industry in Mexico experienced the loss of one of its distinguished figures. The Mexican entertainment community lost its beloved personality and Ventaneando co-host Daniel Bisogno who passed away at age 51. Ventaneando announced the tragic news on February 20, 2025 that revealed Bisogno died from complications after getting a liver transplant. Bisogno became known through Mexican TV screens for many decades because of his wise remarks and frank nature.
Daniel Bisogno’s Cause of Death Explained
The broadcasting platform Ventaneando delivered the official confirmation that Daniel Bisogno had died after years of working at the TV Azteca program for about three decades.
“It is with deepest sadness that we regret to report news we never wanted to give: our beloved Daniel Bisogno has just passed away due to complications he suffered after the liver transplant he underwent last September,” read a statement on Ventaneando’s Instagram profile (via Deadline).
People were well aware of the health problems Daniel Bisogno faced. During 2023 he was hospitalized three times because of his condition with esophageal varicose veins combined with rectal fissure diagnosis and contracting COVID-19. The early part of 2024 brought worsened health to his body where he acquired a pulmonary infection.
An operation for a liver transplant occurred in September 2024 which brought severe challenges to his postoperative recovery. His condition stood at “very delicate” levels according to his brother Alejandro Bisogno during his appearance on Ventaneando just before his death.
A Career That Defined an Era
The Mexican television public gained full recognition of Daniel Bisogno in his Ventaneando debut during 1997. Through his wit and fearless opinion-making Bisogno became known as a prominent figure in Mexican television during his time. His worsening health condition failed to separate him from his television viewers. At Ventaneando’s 29th anniversary celebration of January 2025 Daniel Bisogno joined remotely to tell his co-hosts during that gathering.
“These 29 years have been wonderful… The best thing is a life that has given me everything, both good and bad.”
