Musical legend Billy Joel delayed several stadium performances that were supposed to take place from March until June 2024 because of medical reasons. The veteran singer-songwriter, who recently turned 74 years old, underwent medical procedures to focus on his recovery with doctor-directed physical exercises under supervision.
Prioritizing Health Over Touring
Through an emotional statement, Billy Joel stated his disappointment in delaying the shows, yet he placed his health as the highest priority.
“While I regret postponing any shows, my health must come first,” Joel stated. “I look forward to getting back on stage and sharing the joy of live music with our amazing fans. Thank you for your understanding.”
The upcoming concert appearances of the singer are postponed because he requires healing time to return onstage.
Rescheduled Concerts and New Dates
Las Vegas fans of Billy Joel can now anticipate his upcoming performance at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh on July 5. All rescheduled show dates were distributed between 2025 and 2026, but Milwaukee has not received a new performance schedule yet.

- Charlotte, NC – Bank of America Stadium (with Sting) → July 3, 2026
- Milwaukee, WI – American Family Field (with Sting) → TBD
Every ticket issued for the initial performance dates can be used as valid admission for the rescheduled concert dates.
